Upload Medical Certificates for Your Minors

When an event requires a medical certificate or a membership card, you can add it for the minors of your academy yourself, straight from the Minors page, instead of waiting for the family.

Open the Documents Window

In your academy admin menu, choose Minors. Each row has a Documents button. It opens Documents of the minor's name, a window with the status of every medical certificate and membership card on file: its type, Valid, Expiring soon or Expired, the expiry date, and who uploaded it (Uploaded by you, Uploaded by the guardian, Uploaded by the athlete or Uploaded by someone else).

Add a Document

1. Under Add a document, choose Medical certificate or Membership card.
2. Enter the Expiry Date and choose the file: PDF, JPEG or PNG, up to 1 MiB.
3. Choose Upload.

If the expiry date is not acceptable, the window asks you to check it and try again.

What You Can and Can't Do

• You can see the status only. Medical certificates are health data, so you can't open or download any file, not even one you uploaded.
• You can remove only the documents you uploaded yourself, with the trash icon (Delete document). A mistaken upload is fixed by deleting it and uploading again.
• An athlete can have one medical certificate on file, expired ones included. If there already is one, the window says "A certificate of this type is already on file (it may have expired): ask the guardian to replace it." You can't replace a certificate uploaded by the guardian or the athlete.

When Your Access Ends

You can work on a minor's documents only while they are an active member of your academy and still a minor (the age of majority depends on the country). When they leave the academy, are suspended in it, or are no longer a minor, the Documents window stops working for them. This applies to the academies you own or manage.
