Bootstrap Phase Notice

Hajime is in an early bootstrap phase. Features, workflows, and terms may evolve as the product matures.

Changes to Terms

Terms may be updated with notice. Continued use after notice means acceptance of updated terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to abuse the service, compromise security, or process data without appropriate authorization.

Service Availability

The service is provided as available during this phase, without production-grade SLA commitments.

Registration Payment Refunds

When online payment is enabled for an event, the event organizer acts as the Merchant of Record for registration fees. Hajime provides payment orchestration services and is not a party to the commercial transaction between the organizer and the athlete.

Refund eligibility, timelines, and conditions are determined solely by the event organizer. Athletes should contact the event organizer directly to request a refund. Hajime may facilitate the technical processing of refunds on behalf of the organizer but bears no liability for refund decisions.

Platform service fees charged by Hajime are non-refundable.

Minors, guardians and acting on behalf

Below the digital consent age of the country on the account, the age gate requires a guardian to be linked before the account can register for events and use most features; account settings and the guardian pages stay available while this is pending. A minor's registration needs a guardian's recorded consent before check-in at the event. You agree to give accurate birth date and guardian information.

If you declare that you are the guardian of a minor, you are responsible for the accuracy of that declaration and for what you submit on the minor's behalf, including registrations, consents and documents. Acting on behalf of a minor, for example for a managed child account, is limited to what the platform allows a linked guardian to do.

A consent given for a minor can be withdrawn. See the Privacy Policy for how minors' data is handled.

Organizers, academies and coaches

Organizers, academies and coaches who see data about minors are expected to use it only for the event or club purpose it was provided for, to respect the consent and access limits the platform applies, and not to export it outside the platform without a legal basis.

Hajime provides safeguarding features such as the guardian consent gate, the audited reveal of emergency contact details at the mat and in the roster, the minors panel, event required documents and conduct acknowledgments. You are expected to follow the rules these features surface when you handle a minor's registration.
